Our only face-to-face, in-person appointments are on the Hawk Hill and UCity campuses. But, you can find synchronous online appointments on our Merion Hall schedule (Hawk Hill), our England Library schedule (UCity), and our Post Learning Commons schedule (Hawk Hill). The England Library and Post Learning Commons schedules have appointments available Sunday thru Thursday evenings. The Merion Hall schedule has appointments during the day and on Fridays. You can choose any of these schedules for online appointments. If one is filled up, try another one! Our website has additional information about online appointments. 

eTutoring is also an online option but it is asynchronous. That means, you don't meet with a tutor. Instead, the tutor looks over your writing (seven pages or fewer) and returns written and video feedback to you within 24 hours via email.  By default, the eTutoring schedule is set for 7 p.m. So, feedback will be returned to you by 7 p.m the next day at the latest. Important Policies 

If you are running late, please give us a call. We will cancel and mark as "no-show" writers who are more than 10 minutes late.

If you miss two appointments without canceling the appointment or notifying us in advance, your account will be disabled and you will not be allowed to make any more appointments in the Writing Center for the rest of the semester without permission from the Writing Center Director.

Please be advised that all writers are limited to 180 minutes total per week. Our week begins on a Monday and ends the following Sunday. Also, writers are limited to one appointment per day.

For students working on group projects, we strongly encourage all writers who contributed to the document be present for the tutorial. If only one group member attends the tutorial, we can only work on the part of the project that that group member composed.
